Energy in Motion: Why the Universe Responds When You Do

Today, something sharable happened.
I was sitting on the floor opening my sound healing bags, fluffing pillows, organizing supplies, and searching for a set of tuning forks I thought had gone missing.
At the same time, I had been working on my website and thinking deeply about where sound healing fits into my business.
If I'm being completely honest, sound baths haven't been the biggest income-producing part of my work so far. And for a while, I found myself questioning whether they were worth the time and energy.
But earlier that day, something shifted.
I realized I had been measuring sound healing by the wrong metric.
Sound baths are one of the most beautiful ways I know to introduce people to the world of energy. They create an experience that people can actually feel. They help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience firsthand that everything is energy.
They are a bridge into the work I love most.
And I realized I didn't care whether they were my biggest source of income. They are a meaningful way to be of service, connect with my community, and live the message I teach.
So I decided I was all in.
Not someday.
Not when it made more sense.
Now.
As I was unpacking everything, I found the missing tuning forks.
About ten minutes later, my phone buzzed.
A friend texted asking if I'd like to partner with her for another sound bath.
I laughed.
Not because I think the universe magically drops opportunities into our laps for no reason.
But because I had already put my energy into motion.
I had been doing the work. Updating my website. Talking about sound healing. Dusting off supplies. Finding my tuning forks. Making space for this part of my business again.
I was preparing. I was organizing. I was saying "yes" before the opportunity arrived.
And that's something I've noticed over and over again in life.
Many people wait for the universe to respond before they take action. They wait for the money before actually starting the business. They wait for the clients before creating the offer. They wait for the opportunity before dusting off the supplies.
But energy doesn't usually work that way.
The universe often responds to movement. It responds to intention backed by action. It responds when there is energy behind the desire. When there is some skin in the game.
That doesn't mean we force things or hustle ourselves into exhaustion. But it does mean we participate.
We meet desire halfway.
We meet trust halfway.
We prepare for the thing we say we want before we have proof that it's coming.
And sometimes, when we do, life has a funny way of meeting us there.
Today it looked like a pair of missing tuning forks and a text message about a sound bath.
Tomorrow it might look like something entirely different.
But the lesson remains the same:
Energy in motion attracts more energy in motion.
So if there's something calling to you right now, maybe the next step isn't waiting.
Maybe it's preparing.
Maybe it's making space.
Maybe it's simply saying yes before the opportunity arrives.
Because sometimes the universe isn't waiting for you to believe.
It's waiting for you to begin.
